Tuesday's at The Penthouse
September sees the awarding-winning resident Chefs at FIVE Zurich bring their unique flavours to the table. We kick start the week at The Penthouse for a Tuesday evening you’ll never forget. This month, Chef Frederick brings his award-winning Japanese flair to the hottest skyline view lounge. To accompany the impressive backdrop, featuring the glittering skyline of Zurich, Chef Frederick has prepared a special edition Japanese fusion menu to honour the occasion and all of its Dinner Club attendees. Enjoy three meticulously prepared courses with selections between Scottish Salmon Teriyaki, succulent Miso Chicken or the Chef’s own selection of Maki Rolls. And once the dining has commenced, the dancing continues as you ditch your tables for dancefloor and experience The Penthouse evolve into the epic nightlife destination everyone’s talking about.
Wednesday's at Soul St
And finally, Wednesday brings Chef Orlando’s punchy street food and all of its flavourful aromas to the graffiti’d walls of Soul St. Enter the vibrant Soul St. and immediately feel the energy of this buzzing street food culinary concept. With walls adorned with globally iconic artworks, lush green views from the outdoor terrace, and a vast array of the most popular street food dishes from around the world, no two visits to Soul St are ever the same.
And now, Chef Orlando mixes things up even further with his street food tasting menu created exclusively for The Dinner Club. Kick things off with BBQ chicken wings, Soul St’s famous Yoghurt bombs (filled with sweet yoghurt, tamarind chutney, mint and mashed potato) or tasty beef bao before moving on to a variety of globally loved dishes for mains.
If the food is the best part of a street food party, the crowd it attracts comes a close second. Foodies, this is your invitation to mix and mingle with your fellow street food enthusiasts throughout the night. Have you traveled to some of the world’s most famous street food markets? Share your stories with the dinner guests around you. Soak in the vibrant atmosphere that only a dinner party at Soul St can bring. Munch, boogie and cheers to great memories!
Thursday's at Maiden Shanghai
Next, explore the unique tastes of Chinese Cuisine with Chef Bing’s tasting menu for an unmatched Thursday evening at Maiden Shanghai. Chef Bing’s cooking is packed with nostalgia and for those foodies looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, his tasting menu will certainly deliver just that. The culinary journey begins with his famous Hot&Sour Soup before welcoming a choice between crispy prawn & seabass rolls or Maiden Boom Boom Chicken. Next, choose between the Kung Pao Chicken served with wok stir-fried string beans and vegetables or the flavourful seafood rice with Sichuan vegetables (we know right, it’s a tough choice). For dessert, Chef Bing’s sweet treat is the Maiden Rice Bowl made from almonds, blueberries, puffed rice and soy milk foam. A real crowd pleaser to end the dinner and begin the party.
This roaring 20’s Shanghai-inspired venue knows how to kick things up a notch and get you and your friends vibing. As the drinks keep flowing and you mingle with your fellow foodies, take it all in and embrace the modern glamour of the Dinner Club at Maiden Shanghai.
Pick your night or join us for all three. These nights promise to bring nostalgia, plenty of glamour and even a little romance, if like us, your greatest love is good food. And once the kitchen closes? Keep it going, hope between FIVE Zurich’s different bars and lounges.
