DJ LOVRA is fast on her way to becoming one of the stand-out new names of 2021. Now signed exclusively to Sony Music - with the exception of ‘Lick It’, a recent Hexagon Records outing at the request of label boss Don Diablo -LOVRA’s distinctive sound has been winning her an army of fans since 2015. Born and raised in Limburg, Germany, LOVRA developed a passion for music early on, finding her first sounds via the piano and recorder. Electronica soon made its mark, an early pair of Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3s followed by a CDJ-2000 Nexus and CDM 800, introducing her to a world of beatmatching and track selection that proved an instant fitfor her persona. Naturally creative and with a desire to fully grow into her artistic direction, it wasn’t long before LOVRA felt the siren call of the world’s creative epicentre, Berlin.
In 2018 LOVRA found herself on the radar of none other than David Guetta, the house music legend signing her for a run of 17 dates as an official resident at BIG, his huge party at Ibiza’s world famous Ushuaia Beach Club. Also bringing LOVRA onboard as a global resident was iconic clubbing brand Ministry of Sound. For three years LOVRA travelled the planet, supporting household names like Armanda van Helden, Basement Jaxx, Todd Terry, Felix da Housecat and more, her chunky, funky house grooves an absolutely natural fit for the best nightclub in Zurich, The Penthouse.
